The Happy Kidz Out of School Club is a family run Club based at James Reckitt Avenue. It was purpose built to meet the needs of parents with children aged from 5 – 11 years. It was developed with a number of local agencies. The Club operates a drop-off and pick-up service to the local primary school.

Parents

We recognise that parents play a vital part in their child’s well being and that is why we welcome parents’ involvement in their child’s care as much as possible. We also appreciate the need for communication between the Club and the parents. We therefore provide for newsletters, parents’ evenings and a notice board to keep parents fully advised. In addition, we also operate an open-door policy where parents can feel free to call at any time to discuss their child’s progress or discuss any issues and concerns they may have.

Staff

The staff has been carefully selected not only because of their qualifications and experience but for their commitment and empathy to the children in their care. The staff is encouraged to develop their professional qualifications in line with national requirements.

The Club Room

The Club is self-contained and very well equipped to keep your child fully occupied. These activities include a quiet area to enable your child to complete their homework or to read or relax. Craft activities, board games, construction toys, computers and games consoles are also available for their enjoyment.

The Outside Play Area

This is fully enclosed and is partially fitted with safety tiles. The area is also monitored by the CCTV system which covers the whole of the Club, 24 hours a day. The external doors can only be opened from the inside and no child will be allowed to leave with someone unknown to the Club’s staff.

Opening Hours

The Club is open from 7.00 am to 6.00 pm Monday to Friday (Bank Holidays excluded).
